This is such a beautiful time of year. The cooler temperatures, shorter days, and the shedding of summer's growth remind me of the significance of rest. It's fascinating how many messages nature offers if you take the time to notice them.
I have been unconsciously contemplating my blog post for some time. Waiting for source to flow through me as the vessel painting the canvas with the words I learned in this lifetime. However, the words have not emerged, and the stories remain unspoken, still simmering beneath the surface.
As a human, I must accept and recognize when it's my time to rest and when it's my time to receive and share the wisdom that is conveyed through me as a gift to be honored.
As I write, I realize how much more time it takes and how genuine writer's block can be. This summer, I engaged in a meditation that takes you beyond space and time to connect with the creative muse, accessing infinite wisdom beyond human creation. During this meditation, we were given the following prompt:
“The truth is a secret they don’t want you to be aware or conscious of. You cannot make money off the truth. You are perfect and divinely guided. They distract you with their propaganda and their belief of what truth is for their bank accounts and egotistical obligations. They watch and wait for you with their algorithms and their marketing schemes to have you buy into their truth. With the intention of keeping you distracted and unaware of the truth in that you are the divine in human form forever and for always loved and cosmically supported by the universe in ways they could never touch”- The Pulse of Your Soul
As I contemplate this passage and the nature of the world, I realize that no matter your situation or the beliefs instilled in you, you are a beautiful soul given the chance to experience life as a human.
Both positively and negatively, we exist in a society rooted in profit and built on consumerism. I have become distracted by the ideal lifestyle entangled in this notion of progress and the hectic pace of life.
Currently, I feel drawn to harmonize with nature, to take time to rest and contemplate my perspectives and worldview, with more insights to follow. Meanwhile, I pose this question: Are you able to align yourself with the seasons to nurture and support your nervous system, create space, and uphold the natural rhythm of the environment we inhabit as humans?
I also consider where I direct my energy and power, finding joy in creativity and soul expression. I invite you to contemplate the following:
Are there activities you once loved but have stopped doing because you're "too busy" or because society doesn't recognize their productive value?
In the past, dancing was a source of joy and lightness for me, but as I grew older, I stopped. I claimed I didn't have time for it. It's intriguing to look back on that justification and how it has evolved. Without movement, the body becomes stiff, and this stiffness also affects the mind.
Balance is a beautiful thing isn’t it?
With gratitude, Amanda.
