she/her

Registered Psychotherapist, Sex Therapist & Founder of Embodied Sexual Wellness and Psychotherapy

My Story

As a therapist, I value the diversity and complexity of our individual and relational experiences that make us unique. I passionately support individuals, couples and polycules in becoming more empowered in their sexual experiences, navigating complex issues such as sexual trauma, exploring new relationship structures, and addressing out of control sexual behaviours. I also work alongside individuals to comfortably address sexual dysfunction, desire discrepancies, and pelvic health/pain related concerns.

As someone who has lived experience with navigating concerns related to pelvic pain and sexual health, I recognize the importance of having not only effective, but also compassionate support. I chose to specialize in sex therapy as I know all too well how challenging it can be to address our relationships with vulnerable and sensitive parts of ourselves.

While I primarily use Somatic and body-based modalities, I also use other modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (TF-ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I have completed over 300+ hours of specialized training in sex therapy, as I firmly believe that offering sex therapy requires dedication to expanding knowledge, understanding, experience and competency in many critical areas. I approach sex therapy from an attachment lens, while also using the Ex-PLISSIT model of care- a trauma-informed, solution-focused and staged framework that allows us to move within our work together in a safe and gradual way- respecting where you are currently at in this journey.

I identify as a sex-positive, kink and queer-friendly therapist and advocate, and aim to provide a safe, validating and affirming space for individuals to navigate the diverse issues and challenges they may be experiencing. I am here to have the challenging conversations that most people feel are "taboo". As an individual who happens to be a sex therapist, I show up as my authentic (neurodivergent, tattooed, curious, and slightly overly passionate and interested in all things sex and sexuality) self.

You deserve to feel empowered in your experiences of sex and sexuality, and I would love to walk down this path of sexual wellness with you.
